I may have a viable solution for you. Though it is not an iPad app per se, since the iPad is internet capable the course can be easily adapted for iPad use. The online course is called “Rev It Up Reading” and is honestly one of the only legitimate speed reading courses available. The course was created by Abby Marks Beale, who is one of the foremost authorities on speed reading and has authored books such as “10 Days to Faster Reading” and “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Speed Reading”. The course can be found at http://www.revitupreading.com and site licenses can be obtained for use in large groups such as student bodies. I hope this may help point you in the right direction.
