The wait is over, Mac App store is live and already equipped with over thousands apps. All you have to do is go to the preferences > Software Update. You will find a MAC OS X 10.6.6 update of 114MB. This updates your snow leopard and ads the app store, it also has some stability issues fixed. Mac App Store is a desktop application its not integrated into iTunes or something.

Mac App Store works exactly like iTunes (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) App Store. You have to login with your Apple ID to download apps and games to your MAC. The feel and the look is different but the idea is same, so I am sure you guys will like it and would easily get used to of it.
