Open Source iOS Library Providing Color Helpers For Finding Suitable Colors

I’ve mentioned a number of libraries to aid in choosing the right colors for use within your apps most recently a UIColor helper library allowing you to choose 1200+ colors by name.

Here’s a Swift library from Yannick Loriot that provides a number of functions to help you chose the right colors called DynamicColor.

Dynamic color includes methods that automatically find lighter, darker, complementary, inverted, grayscale colors and more allowing you to quickly generate a color palette from a single color. An example is included showing the different functions in action.

This image from the readme illustrates how the DynamicColor works based on an original color:

You can find DynamicColor on Github here.

A great library for working with colors.
