I’ve mentioned a few libraries created for easier UI layout using iOS’s auto-layout feature most recently the Swift based Cartography library.
Here’s an open source library from Simon Gladman for easier creation of custom interface layouts with using substantially less code called ShinpuruLayout.
ShinpuruLayout allows you to group controls and align them both horizontally and vertically, and also size items within those groups with absolute or relative sizing. A number of examples of different user interfaces are included with ShinpuruLayout.
Here’s an image showing an example interface created with ShinpuruLayout inspired by the Softimage user interface:
You can read more about ShinpuruLayout on the Flex Monkey blog.
You can find ShinpuruLayout source code on Github here.
A nice library for easily creating complex interface layouts.
