Earlier this year I mentioned an interesting tab bar controller allowing for complete customization using images.
Here’s a custom tab bar component called JFTabBarController submitted by Josh Adams that provides scrolling through icons (instead of the more button) and adds a number of features for tab bars with many icons.
JFTabBarController adds arrows pointing to the left and right (when there are unseen icons available), handles device orientation changes properly, animations between tab changes, and has been tested on newer devices
