Last month I mentioned a library allowing you to create HUD displays that look like the native HUD displays called PKHUD, I’ve mentioned some other HUD components in the past which unfortunately have issues with newer iOS releases or just don’t fit with the flat look of iOS 7+.
Here’s a new customizable HUD component providing a similar feature set to some previously mentioned components, but updated to run properly on newer iOS releases called JGProgressHUD from Jonas Gessner.
JGProgressHUD is compatible with iOS 5 through iOS 8, and uses a blurred view on iOS 8. HUDs can be displayed with different styles, provides several different progress indicators, has customizable animations, different progress and status indicators and more.
Here are some images from the readme showing JGProgressHUD in action:
You can find JGProgressHUD on Github here.
A nice up-to-date custom HUD component.
