Open Source Library For Presenting Users With Great Looking Customizable Notes After App Updates

With iOS 7 and automatic updates a point of communication was lost with users, and previously I mentioned a library allowing you to automatically present users with notes after they automatically update called TWSReleaseNotes.

Here’s an open source library called What’s New from Matt Zanchelli that allows you to automatically present a view to the user with any update notes that you would like to provide with a little more style than previously mentioned libraries.

With What’s New you can customize the look of the view presented to the user with gradients, light or dark colors, your own images (if desired) and your own text. The library will present the user with all updates that have been made to the app which is especially great if they haven’t used your app for a few updates.

Here’s an image from the readme showing What’s New in action:

You can find What’s New on Github here.

A great library for automatically presenting the user with changes that have been made to your app.
