Previously I mentioned some unique pull-to-refresh indicators that play pong when the user refreshes and display an animated stargate when the user pulls to refresh.
Here’s a component for creating custom pull-to-refresh indicators using your own images from Jaehoon Jung called UZYSAnimatedGifPullToRefresh.
UZYSAnimatedGifPullToRefresh allows you to easily specify both progress and loading images as gif files, or as a series of images and if you like you can use your images or gif as a loading indicator with a UIActivityIndicator as your progress indicator.
An included example demonstrates how to use the different possible options.
