Late last year I mentioned the NSMoment Library that simplifies formatting, parsing and validating links.
Here’s an open source library in the form of an NSDate category submitted by Matthew York called DateTools that provides a number of extensions inspired by .NET’s excellent DateTime and time periods Library.
DateTools allow you to easily calculate time ago based on an entered date, provides easy access to date components, easy adding and subtracting from dates, date comparison, date formatting, and time periods.
A nice example app detailing usage is included.
