I’ve mentioned a number of libraries making it easier to format text within your apps including this library with a number of text formatting and alignment options.
Here’s an open source project called FDLabelView that makes it considerably easier to create formatted text which is especially nice for reading apps.
FDLabelView provides a number of methods for alignment (vertical and horizontal), sizing, and positioning, but best of all provides a special debug mode that allows you to view text properties, and bounds, and bring up an editor so you can get your text formatted just right.
