I’ve mentioned a couple of components for creating lock screens such as Project iMas which includes a secure passcode interface and this component for implementing an Android pattern style lock screen.
Here’s an open source component from Aleks Kosylo called Pinpad that allows you to quickly implement a pin entry screen modelled after the iPhone lock screen.
Pinpad will automatically remove itself from view when the user enters the pin number you can specify. Wrong answers show a shaking animation of the number dots.

You can find PinPad on Github here.
While it may not emphasize security if you want to add a good-looking lock screen within an app Pinpad allows you to do so easily.
