Open Source iOS Control For Creating Peekable Images Inspired By The Flag Kickstarter Project

I’ve mentioned some interesting components for displaying images such as IDMPhotoGallery that allows you to build a photo gallery with support for zooming, panning and downloading and photos.

Here’s an open source control submitted by Roberto Seidenberg called RCCPeakableImageView that allows you to add an interesting peeking feature to images.

This peeking feature allows the user to scroll though an image by tilting their device with speed adjusted depending on the size of the image.

Here’s an image from the readme of RCCPeakableIMageView showing an image gallery made up with a set of peekable images:

You can find RCCPeakableImageView on Github here.

You can find information about Flag, the Kickstarter project that inspired RCCPeakableImageView here.

A nice way to display images in a fixed area while still allowing the user to preview the entire image.
