iOS Component For Creating Range Slider Controls With Custom Themes, Snapping And More

A few weeks ago I mentioned an interesting circular range slider control for those looking for something with very unique styling.

Here’s an open source component from Murray Hughes for creating range sliders with a native slider look that provides a number of very nice features.

You can easily customize the slider with images, get the center point values for each of the sliders, have the handles snap to specific points, and you can turn on the built-in iOS 7 look and tint the colors.

You can also use it as a regular slider for those just looking to create a stepped slider. An example is included demonstrating the many different features.
