Open Source iOS Component Providing An Animated Drop Down Navigation Menu

I’ve mentioned a number of components for creating slide in navigation menus most recently the neatly styled MCPanelViewController and REFrostedViewController.

Here’s a nice navigation component called DropDownMenu submitted by Nils Mattison that provides a vertical alternative to the slide-in menu.

DropDownMenu allows you to easily implement a menu that drops down from the navigation bar with the setup done using storyboards.

There is an example included that shows how to set up a DropDownMenu along with iconized menu selections.

A nice navigation controller for those times when you’d prefer to not use a menu that slides in from the side.
