I’ve mentioned a number of excellent open source component for creating customizable progress views, most recently an excellent component for great-looking customizable progress bars.
Here’s an open source iOS UI component that allows you to easily create custom progress views using images from Michelangelo Chasseur.
To create your custom progress view you simply supply an image with an alpha channel and the progress indication will appear within the non-transparent portion of your images., you can insert your progress view in interface builder or programatically.
Progress can show in an animated manner and you can customize the foreground and background colors.
