I’ve mentioned a number of excellent open source controls for customized segmented lists like this one that allows you to use images within your controls for customization.
Heres a custom iOS UI control called WLSegmentedControls from Ling providing enhanced segmented controls and solving the common issue with UISegmentedControl not allowing multiple selections.
In addition to multiple selections WLSegmentedControls allows for custom coloring, and both horizontal and vertical segmented controls.
