I’ve mentioned a few libraries to aid with iOS audio recording and playback such as the excellent high performance audio library Novocaine.
Here’s a component from Polat Olu called POVoiceHUd providing a nice interface similar to that found in various Google apps for recording audio.
The component displays a working audio meter, and automatically stops when the in put volume drops below a certain level or after 20 seconds.
