Open Source Tool For Debugging iOS User Interfaces Featuring A 3D Viewer And More

Previously I mentioned the open source Hierarchy Viewer tool making debugging user interfaces easier by allowing you to easily view the hierarchy of elements within your user interface.

Here’s an open source tool for debugging your user interfaces called Hierarchy Detective from Chinmay Garde.

Hierarchy Detective provides a tool for visualizing your user interface elements in 3D space, a search function so you can easily find elements and their associations, and the ability to extend the client beyond support for UIKit and Quartz elements.

Here’s an image from the readme showing Hierarchy Detective in use:

You can download and read more about Hierarchy Detective over on the official page.

You can find the repository on Github here.

A very nice open source tool for debugging user interfaces.
