I’ve mentioned a number of custom components for progress indication, most recently a circular progress indicator inspired by the iOS 7 app store.
Here’s an open source component called SGNavigationProgress that allows you to add a Safari style progress indicator to a navigation bar.
You can customize the tint color, add a title indicate progress by setting the duration for the progress indicator, or by setting a percentage.
