Handy iOS Library Allowing You To Control Simulator Apps Using The Keyboard

I’ve mentioned a few nice libraries and tools for working with simulator such as SimularRemoteNotifications which allows you to send push notifications to apps running in the simulator from the terminal, and SimPholders which allows you to launch apps in the simulator directly from the quick access menu.

Here’s another excellent library for working with the simulator called Commando released by Jonas Budelmann.

Commando allows you to work with UIKit based interfaces in the simulator using only your keyboard, simply drop in Commando and you’ll be able to control the simulator, you can even highlight all the tappable fields.

Here’s an animation from the readme that shows off the feature of finding all tappable fields:

You can find Commando on Github here.

A nice tool for working with the iOS simulator.
