Finally catching up to the tablet generation, CBS has released an updated version of its CBS Sports app that comes complete with full iPad support. On top of that significant upgrade, the app now also features live video for a variety of sports including NCAA basketball, college football and the PGA Tour.
Until today’s addition of live video, the app was designed solely as a portal for checking scores and stats for just about every sports organization you can think of. The early user reviews of the updated app appear to be almost universally positive. If you’re looking for a free app for live sports, it seems CBS is on top of its game.
