I’ve mentioned a number of excellent UIPageControl replacement controls such as this control that allows you to replace the dot icons with customimages called SMPageControl.
Here’s another excellent open source control for multi-page apps from Tom Thorpe called UIScrollSlidingPages that integrates a nice transition effect with a slick paging control.
When the user switches between the pages each page gets “sent backwards” with a shrinking effect, and then zooms back in to full size with a nice notched page title bar at the top.
This animated image from the readme shows off the effect (due to the size of the image the quality has been reduced):
You can find UIScrollSlidingPages on Github here.
A very slick control for use within multipage apps.
