I’ve mentioned a number of excellent popover controls, most recently PopoverView that allows you to place a view – or array of views within a popover so you can create some very slick fully custom popovers.
Here’s another great open source custom popover ui control from Konstantin Boukreev specifically for creating great looking iconized popover menus on the iPhone and iPad.
With KxMenu you can easily create the menus simply by supplying a title, and icon image for each selection, and a selector to respond to click events.
