Previously I mentioned a UIButton subclass allowing you to make great looking animated buttons inspired by the Windows 8 metro user interface.
Here’s a customizable iOS UI control submitted by Alex Muller inspired by the Windows Phone 8 App Bar called CommandMaster.
CommandMaster provides the same look, and animations with the menu bar expanding when the ellipses is clicked, and showing any available menu items.
The control allows you to easily customize the buttons, set callbacks for each button and some extra features such as menu caching, button disabling, and auto-hiding when scrolling.
This image from the readme shows CommandMaster in a fully open state:
You can find CommandMaster on Github here.
A very nice replica of the App Bar with a number of extra features.
As always make sure you make considerable changes to something like this if you are going to use it within an app.
