Tutorial: Build An Angry Birds Style Game Quickly W/Cocos2d, LevelHelper and SpriteHelper

I previously mentioned tutorials on building an Angry Birds style game with Cocos2D and Chipmunk which has become somewhat dated, and I’ve also mentioned the excellent LevelHelper and SpriteHelper tools.

Mohammad Azam has created a new tutorial and several screencasts in which he quickly builds an Angry Birds style game using Cocos2D (with Kobold2D) along with Sprite Helper And Level Helper.

A nice tutorial showing how easy it can be to build a physics based game with these tools.

You can find the three screencasts for the project on Youtube here: Video 1, Video 2, Video 3.

And you can find the tutorial on High On Coding in two parts here: Part 1, Part 2.

The completed tutorial project can be found on Github here – be sure to install Kobold2D.

A nice easy to follow tutorial that you can probably follow in about an hour and come out with a simple game.
