I’ve mentioned a large number of custom open source iOS controls that are based on apps lately such as the Clear, Path 2, and Twitter apps.
More and more apps seem to be successfully breaking new ground as users are looking for more than a standard user interface.
Here’s another control based on a popular app providing an elegant animated horizontal overlay menu.

A great control if you’re looking for an overlay menu that requires a minimum of screen space.
