Every few months, I like to look for new wallpapers to put on my devices, whether it be a Mac, iPad or iPhone. There are far too many wallpaper sites on the Internet to keep up with all the time, but I know a few good artists and photographers who have some very well-done content and I typically check their latest releases for an interesting new way to show off my device’s screen.
You could look for hours trying to find different types of wallpapers that suit you since there are so many options, but I’m going to help you out. Instead of having to look for all those great backgrounds, I’ve compiled a list featuring 50 of the best photos, Photoshop pieces and anything else that will look beautiful on your iPhone’s Retina display. Keep reading to check them out.
Games and Movies
Everyone has a favorite superhero film, whether it be Iron Man or the recent Avengers release. Or if games are more your style, we’ve got a few of those here as well.
Landscapes
Ah, the beauty of our Earth. Photographers spend days capturing astounding images of the sunsets, the beautiful sky, snow on the mountains and fields from afar. In this section, you’ll find some beautiful wallpapers of landscapes taken around the world.
Lock Screens
Sometimes you want something a bit different from what you have on your home screen for your lock screen. For this application, I’ve prepared some nice abstract patterns and such. Other wallpapers I’ve listed above can also fit this category, but these will work best to show off the lock screen rather than the home screen.
Nature
Landscapes are nice, but nature is another whole category entirely. Within it are pictures of flowers, beautiful lakes, storms, macros of leaves and so on.
Other
There are some wallpapers that fit in certain categories, but then there are all those random ones that aren’t from any particular area and have all sorts of different styles. In this section, you’ll see some more random wallpapers that have many different subjects in them.
Enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed this collection of beautiful iPhone wallpapers. If you want to find some more new ones, I suggest visiting Iconpaper, InterfaceLIFT, Louie Mantia’s website and fiftyfootshadows often for some of the latest creations out there. Until next time, have fun exploring!
