AllThingsD announced today that Tim Cook will be the opening night speaker at the D10 conference in late May. It will be Cook’s first appearance at a non-Apple event since he took over as CEO of the company last year. D10 will be held May 29-31, 2012 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
