Easily Add Real-Time Tournament Multiplayer And More Into Single Player iOS Games

In the past I’ve mentioned a tutorial how to use GameKit for multiplayer gaming, and several services to help with app cross-promotion services.

What this service allows you to do is somewhat different from what we’ve seen so far.

It allows you to enable tournaments within your games with real time updates – effectively changing a single player game into a real-time multiplayer game .

The service also provides a cross game promotion, and a separate app for cross promotion.

I was going to hold off mentioning this service since it is still in beta, but since there are already some games that appear to be doing quite well I decided to mention it here.

The service is Nextpeer, and this video shows you exactly what you can do, and exactly how easy it is to use with a game in this video where they take the previously mentioned open source game Puff Puff, and turn it into a multiplayer game in 15 minutes:

You can preview Nextpeer in the free to download Word Flow and Pingo games and see what it’s all about.

You can signup for the Nextpeer beta on the official website here.

Looks like a great serivce.
