The text box is the standard used to display the dialogue between the player and non-playing characters in most RPG’s and adventure games, especially those that don’t have the benefit of voice acting.
Fabio Rodella has created a very usefull class for creating these dialog boxes in Cocos2D iPhone game engine that automatically creates line breaks, and handles user touches for longer text — so you just need to supply your dialogue, customize the colors for your game, and you have your adventure game dialog box.
