Originally created for a broadcast commercial to showcase a range of Smiley plush characters, I decided to create a tutorial from it because there are many useful techniques I used to go from the original 2d jpegs to a 3d scene with depth, shadows, reflections and even a 3d product logo. As always in AE, there are many ways to achieve an effect…these are just the ones I chose to make this spot.
