How it works ?
Top level
Only pages (including templates) can be top level. These will be displayed normally, with the header and footer.
They will automatically be added to the main menu.
Note that you can easily reorder the menu links in your admin panel
Top level pages will be linked to each other on the main screen, and may have a sub menu for their sub-pages.
Examples
A regular top level page | A top level page with a sub menu
Sub level
Posts and portfolio projects are sub level. Pages can also be sub level.
They will be displayed fullwidth with a close link to return to the top level parent or main page.
- Sub level posts feature next/previous posts link on the top
- Sub level portfolio feature next/previous projects link on the top
- Sub level pages feature links to other sub pages of the same parent on the bottom
Examples
A regular sub level post | A regular sub level portfolio | A sub level page
No level
Only pages can be no level. For example : archives pages, or any other page that you do not wish to feature in the main menu will have no level.
- No level pages will be displayed fullwidth as sub level posts/pages
- No level pages will have a close button to return to the main page
Example
Archives page
