I need someone to collect all the application info in the android market.
There is currently an open source java API that can let you query it – http://code.google.com/p/android-market-api/
You may run into issues with google trying to limit the number of requests etc. I am a programmer myself but have no time to do it.
What I need you to deliver:
1. A zip file that has all the contents that were collected, with a php file so I can ‘browse through them’. It will include the database, screenshot pics, and the file for browsing.
2. The crawlers you wrote using the API to collect all the information
3. details as to how you got past any ways google may of tried to limit your requests
4. a script that will re-crawl and find any new or updated apps. This is so I can re-run it in the future to update my database.
This really isnt too difficult, I just dont have the time 🙂
