Concept: MyShare is a unique way for people to increase their chances of winning the lottery. In the U.S. there are hundreds of lotteries that are taking place all the time. The actual chances of winning a lottery are next to none. So how you increase the odds of you winning, without doing anything illegal? You band together with other people and “pool” your tickets together and you split whatever winnings amongst those in your MyShare group.
The idea is simple: Once you buy your lottery ticket, you simply log on to MyShare’s web site, create a user account, and then either create a group or join an already existing group. As you create a group or join a group, you enter your lottery ticket information into the web site. This logs all lotto numbers as well as tells us which lotteries are being played. If say, for example, there are 15 people in a group, and they have all “pooled” their tickets together by joining a group, and one of them wins 1 million dollars, then that money will be divided 15 different ways–each member of the group will get over $65,000.
Groups can either be private or public and can be created to fit any number of social tastes, i.e. there can be a mommies group, a political group, etc. And each group founder can make their group either public or private. Obviously the larger the group, the more chances you have of winning.
Site Needs: I need an entire site, from beginning to end. I need a very easy to use web site that allows visitors to come to the site and quickly understand the concept, and easy be able to join and enter their lotto info into the database. The social functions of the site need to be numerous, that way people can interact and ask others to join through facebook, twitter, etc.
