Logo Design For Bar

I need labels designed for my homebrewed beer. The labels are for tap handles in my bar. I made some mock-ups and attached them here.

My goal would be to redesign this in at least 10 different colors. So each beer label would have an almost identical design, just different color schemes and text. Once the design and color schemes are chosen, I’d like to be able to change the text myself…. so when I make a new beer I can just go edit the labels with the new beer name. So, I’ll need advice on how to do this using a free graphics program I can download.

The usable space is 2 3/8 by 3 1/4.

Mock-ups are attached but I’d be open to similar original designs that you come up with.
