I am a seasoned web designer and this project is for my client.
The first duty will be to make a Joomla template from a non-Joomla website template which was purchased on TemplateMonster.
First the website captures the user’s email, First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Time of Birth and Place of Birth. Then they see a free reading.
Then they can select one of 4 price categories to get their more detailed horoscope.
1. Basic – Calendar A (has 81 variations based on user date of birth)
2. Plus – Calendar B (has 12 variations based on user date of birth)
3. Deluxe – Custom Horoscope (wait 1-2 days for email from psychic)
4. Ultimate – Horoscope (pulls from database, based on user DOB)
They select their choice and make payment and they can print a receipt. Their new password is displayed on the screen for future logins. After successful payment the user enters a member area with a calendar view for the current year (for Basic and Plus). Their lucky and unlucky days are highlighted with green or red (in Basic) and with green stars or red stars (in Plus). Deluxe will simply send an email to the psychic and (Ultimate) will pull a story from a database based on the date of birth)
All 4 types will give ability for user to view the results and see a printer-friendly version for printing.
THERE IS NO RANDOMIZER ALGORITHM OR FEED FOR THESE HOROSCOPES!
My client believes her formula is accurate and does not want a random horoscope or random calendar result. You must provide a administrator area where we can enter in all the dates with her unique symbols.
Let me explain….Because the designated “lucky” and “unlucky” days not in any specific formula, we will need a custom module in the administration area where we have a calendar view and can click and drag from the legend, what we want to mark for the whole year. This once-per-year data entry will be done by us. It should be scalable for several years and each year we will enter in the dates/symbols.
This project must be completed in 20 days or less and must be in Joomla. Only experienced Joomla developers should apply. ALL Content will be provided by us. There is no script available for this unique horoscope website so it’s not as simple as installing a script. Unlimited Revisions required until client satisfaction.
Note: You can develop the member area screens on a seperate page and we can iFrame them in the Joomla template if necessary.
