Website Design And Implementation

Requirements:

1. Informational web site design – the look and feel of the front page and the navigation of the web site. Navigation will have 5-6 tabs(company, mission, product menu, contact us, etc) and the whole web site would be around 30-50 pages. We already have the logo design in .AI & .EPS. Selected bidder must submit 5 proposed web site designs. We will select one and suggest modifications until we are satisfied with the look and feel and the navigation.

2. Web site programming – the web site should be programmed based on the agreed design. We will provide text copy for the different pages. Ideally the web site should be programmed using something like Drupal or Joomla or other open source tool. The web site programming should allow for later easy addition of blog and ecommerce (shopping cart/credit card processing) – please note that this will not be required for this phase so do not bid for adding blog and ecommerce.

3. Administrator portal and interface programming – a) one of the navigation tabs of the web site will be Menu (like restaurant menu). The administrator interface must provide for an easy forms driven interface where administrator can upload photo and provide name, price and short description of menu item. Upto 25 menu items should be allowed to be entered by administrator at one time. On submitting the information from the Administrator interface the web site Menu page must be updated with the latest Menu items. b) Customer data entry interface – A forms based interface for the Administrator to enter customer data (approx 12 fields table – e.g: cust#, name, address, date of order, menu item ordered, etc). This data must be stored in mySQL database on hosting server. c) Customer data reports – approx 5 predefined reports including list of customers by date range, zip code, etc. d) Customer data should be exported to email system for mass email of newsletters through another Administrator interface.

4. The web site and Administrator portal implementation should on acceptance by us be then uploaded to GoDaddy Linux shared hosting server and the whole system fully tested before final acceptance.

5. We will pay via SL escrow on acceptance of completed project.

6. We would like to select the bidder by mid-next week. The project must be completed within a week of selection.

Landing Page Design & Install

I need a fairly simple landing page. Please bid ONLY if you can complete the job by midnight Friday July 9 EST (GMT -5).

I will select a programmer by 9 a.m. Friday EST and forward all elements (including webhost login) then. Finished page MUST be up & running before Saturday.

Layout: header with 2 or 3 column body
Colour scheme: purple, green and gold on white (but I’m open to suggestions).

4. email opt-in box

I will supply #1-3.

I want the email to be “double opt-in”. So when they enter their email address they receive a confirmation email which must be clicked. Their email addy is then added to a db on my server.

I’m using Dreamhost, which has an “Announcement list” option including, I think, confirmation option. You could use this or your own solution.

My SL account is funded. Escrow is fine. Good, quick work will receive a good review. Other projects are upcoming soon.

Flash Application Mods

I have a flash app that needs modifying. I’m willing to pay $300-400 for this work. I need it done in 20 days or less. I usually pick some quickly. So respond to emails today.

I had programmer working on it, but he would only respond every 5 days and after a month he did do work, but the lack of communication made me end ties with him.

What you need to do is 2 parts.

I know that it’s just a swf, so you can’t take much from it besides using it as a guide.
Also note that that first part is not going to be there when you put it on the site. It’s just for testing purposes.

Other changes that need to be made to it are the following:

Later you will need to implement it into the oscommerce site I have. You will get some help with my programmer doing this. Basically the person on the oscommerce end clicks on design lab after selecting their type of product (this is all on the oscommerce side and not related to you), but you will have to call up what type of product they select. Whether it be a mug, shirt, jacket etc. My client will have pics made by him of the front and back of each product.

After a design has been made you will need it to be saved in a database and moved back over to the cart area on the oscommerce side of the site. This will be done by you but my programmer will help you out.

Now that beginning part where you see you have 4 itemas to choose from shirt, mug, etc wont’ be there. It’s just for testing purposes.

Changes to the site include the following.

1. There is no back side view of the product. For instance a shirt. It’s only showing the front side. They should be able to go back and forth from the front side of the shirt and back side of shirt easily by clicking “bring selected item to the front” or “bring selected item to the back”.
2. Changes to the front side should be saved automatically if the person wants to move to the backside of the shirt and start making design changes there.
3. Remove does not work right especially with text. Well it works, but it only removes the last item you put in. It should remove all items 1 by 1. So say they put in 10 designs on the front side of the shirt. Clicking remove once will remove the last item placed on the shirt. Clicking it again will remove the item placed before that.
4. Also relating to that Undo All should remove every item that has been placed (on that side of the shirt). So not items placed on the back or front of the shirt. Just on the side you are working on currently. Undo all at this point does not work at all.

5. Bold, Italic, and Outlined need to be added to the text part.
6. Rotate doesn’t seem to work exactly right
7. Something weird happens when you press Add/Edit text then click back on Add/Edit Graphic. It seems the lower color box is pushed up for some reason.
8. I’m not 100% sure clicking knockout white even works.
9. The image and text need to be able to skewed and almost rounded for objects like mugs

PREVIEW SECTION:
1 . Image loads of blank product in the selected color. We’ll have to make a whole
library of blank images sized to this size.
2 . SAVE/LOAD your design – Visitor should be able to save their design for later
and be able to pull it back up and apply it to another product. Perhaps we could
save images for a limited time, like 14 days or so?
3 . Make .jpg – Since this preview image is so small, we’d like to be able to click this
button and have a larger .jpg image of the preview open up in a new window or
pop-up a “save as” window.
4 . Add design to cart – Clicking this should send the artwork, and the visitor, to the
cart for checkout. The art should come to us as the “Art Board” not the preview.

You will be required to implement this app to the oscommerce site. Also connecting it and saving the jpgs to the database will be done by you. You can create a new database or use the one used for the cart and what not. Basically what I’m saying is you have to inlay the flash app to the oscommerce page. when the app you are making is call you need to call up that product (whether it be a shirt, hat, etc) and then after the design is done in the app you need to save that design and move the original data like price and what not back to the oscommerce site.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
These are all the changes I can think of that need to be made. There may be some small changes that also need to be made and the client may want some other changes made to the app when he reviews it. These likely also will be very small. By accepting the project you agree to do these changes.

Custom Twitter Search Rss Feed

I need an automated generator that scans all of the entries from a specific Twitter list (example: http://twitter.com/espn/espn-boston)…

And finds tweets that mention specific keyword(s) (example: “Tom Brady”, “Patriots”) Also, I’d like to be able to exclude specific keywords and Twitter users as well. It should be easy for me to personally edit these keywords whenever I need to.

The individual tweets should be published to an RSS feed so I can use a service like TwitterFeed (http://twitterfeed.com/) to automatically tweet them using my own account.

It would also be nice to have an option that searches the feed to prevent duplicate entries.

Php Csv File Importer Fix… 3

I have a PHP email script that lets users upload a csv file
and it imports email address and any other data on the file.
For some reason when you import more than 10000 lines/leads from the csv file it won’t send or create a message to be sent out it just disappears when you click send or load up message. I need it to be able to handle at least 25,000 lines…If it needs to be done a different way that is fine..just so long as it checks the blacklisted emails before going out.

Along with that it currently gets the column titles and lets the user select them from a pull down menu…I want to change that to show them as links that would insert it to the subject or body when clicked.

Currently there is a text radio button a HTML for the user to select the format. I would like to instead have an html editor in place but with the ability to still send only text too.

Question please ask…

Need WordPress Plugin

This job is easy for someone who knows what they are doing.

I would like a wordpress plugin which allows one to upload articles in the form of text or rtf files (or just one big document with many articles separated by a delimiter) and then have those articles appended to the end of each post on the wordpress blog.

My budget is around $50 for this plugin.

It would leave a couple of lines after the current data on the blog before it adds the article, in other words, in a new paragraph.

It will do this in real time as soon as a new post is made.
It will take a article from the library and add it to a post which has just been uploaded.

Articles will be taken once and wont be reused unless specified in the settings.

There will be options/settings such as:
⁃ add article to existing posts and add articles to all new posts from now on or both
⁃ add articles to certain categories/tags only
⁃ add articles with certain keywords in their titles to match a specific tag or category
⁃ what the user would like to do once the articles are finished (re-use or stop posting)
⁃ can disable the posting of articles for individual posts if needed
⁃ can elect to post a specific article for a specific post or keep it random
⁃ Can also elect to have articles posted on their own with the need for a primary post (this will have its own set of settings).

I need this done as soon as possible.

Please let me know how quickly you can do this. I’m looking for a quick and cheap development project.
