Java Coders – Calculation For

hello,

i am looking for a java programmer that can assist us with a calculation problem that we are facing.

a detailed description of requirements will be provided to the bid winner.

the work is not extensive, as we simply require a small set of java classes to support calculations of dates according to business rules given by our clients.

at first, we will short list interested parts and provide them further information to enable then to assess the amount of work and their capabilities.

Job:
we recieve a set of data that contains dates when a members of team stay at hotels.
these stays can be defined as lower class (economic) or higher class (suites/delux), but we only receive number of nights at each class (for a 10 nights stay – 4 can be lower and 6 higher which makes the next requirement complex)
as a team there are times when there will be more then one person staying at a hotel, however, we only pay for one night only – the highest class one – but always try to pay lower class whenever possible.
we need to know how many days were stayed away in total and how many we actually should pay.

how this is sufficient info for a start.

please post questions.

and thatnks for looking into it.

with regards,

Nic

WordPress Content / Oscommerce Integration

The following project requires:
• Copy text content from existing site and add to a new WordPress installation (approximately 12 pages of HTML content)
• Take existing WordPress theme / design (already active on WordPress install) and use these to skin OSCommerce (OSCommerce isn’t presently installed but full access provided to install).
• Integrate existing products (approx 25 through 3 – 4 categories) into OSCommerce and WordPress

The end result should hopefully allow a seamless transition for the user between the WordPress install and the cart / OSCommerce.

Much of the above is straight copy and paste from the existing site. The OSCommerce integration can be completed in whichever way you feel best (for example using existing scripts such as http://www.wposc.com/ or adding the products to WordPress pages linking directly to the OSCommerce cart as http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/276878-help-with-add-to-cart-link-from-an-external-page/ ) I am open to suggestions as to the implementation.

This project will suit someone looking to get the work done quickly but you must be able to work independently as I will be online for limited times over the coming 7 days. The ideal deadline for completion is 26 July.

Access will be provided to the new server which already has WordPress (2.9) installed with the theme active. Full access will be granted to the WordPress, as well as to the server itself to install OScommerce.

Hosting / server environment:
Apache 2.2.14
MySQL 5.0.90
PHP 5.2.13 (PHP module info available on request)

Any questions please get in touch. Thanks for reading.
