Blancer.com Tutorials and projects

I have been contracted to rebuild a website. I will be handling all of the design. CSS/layout/graphics, etc. I need someone to build a back-end. Maybe wordpress. Not sure if it is the best option or not. I am open to suggestions if you know of another CMS that can meet the requirements.

The existing site is built with tables and done with FrontPage so all of the content will need to be rebuilt using xhtml and valid markup an added to the CMS no matter what we use.

1.) All features as they are on the existing site. With the ability for the admins to easily add/edit content, videos, images, etc.

2.) Event Calendar.

3.) Password protected member area for special news/announcements/forum. Ability for admin to add/edit/delete members.

3a.) A section for members to contact local politicians with pre-written letters (and the ability for admins add more). Users should have the ability to change the letter if they want before sending.

4.) The fun one… All exisitng content on the site must be converted over to the new system. Bunch of newsletters and news announcements made into posts and dated when they were published.

I want you to provide me a semantic, valid structure that I can incorporate my design around.

I will only give the URL to those who fit the following requirements:

* Escrow only – I will use milestones and release payments based on them
* I will delete your bid if you have no feedback or if you don’t put “I read this” in your bid
* American programmers only. Sorry to do this to the international providers, but the nature of this project requires it. And don’t pretend to be if you’re not.
* Do not send me a list of every project you’ve ever done. Only your best.

I need to transfer my website www.mtfjourney.com from my godaddy hosting account to my HostGator account.

>>Groupon Clone Script<<

Just $89, Full Featured ,Paypal, Tweet Machine

I have already started building this site. The only things left can be seen when comparing my home page with Groupon.com, or livingsocial.com

Once I accept a bid and see high reviews and work that you have already done that is similar to this, I will hand over what I have already accomplished and the log in information for the completion of my site. I will be maintaining site through my current software.

Attached is a screen shot of what I have done. I need forms integrated into the site, such as payment info. (NOT using paypal-refer to groupon or living social), gift to someone, countdown, how many purchased, etc. (none of the buttons are live/clickable). I will need to have each “buy” button editable to the cost of the deal for that day.
ONLY reply if you have examples of YOUR work (I will check out and get references)
