What I need or require:

My project is a simple website link directory site I need done that is based off of http://openadultdirectory.com/escorts/. I am taking that same concept, but adding in a bit more functionality – similar to what you would find on backpage.com or craigslist.org. Another site that is a bit more involved but I like is http://www.gumtree.com/.

I have already purchased a commercial script that has a lot of features, but for this site, we won’t be utilizing too much of the script’s capabilities – most will need to be stripped out.

Although not a large amount of work, full site web design, CSS, slight backend admin modification and PHP/MySQL modifications are needed for this project. Logo has already been created. With regards to the overall design look and feel, I want a very minimal yet elegant and sexy design look if that makes sense. Although, I am still open to other possible design alternatives.

Specific expertise that I am seeking:

Ideal candidate would be experienced and knowledgable in XHTML, CSS, PHP programming, MySQL but yet has an eye and follow through for web and graphic design.

Timeframe for delivery:

I need to have this up and running within 3 weeks. I will provide detailed wireframes, script details and give test site information for review to those replys that are most-promising. You must have multiple positive reviews to be considered.

First and foremost, I want to make it clear that I am not very experienced with coding or anything too advanced. I am a minister at a church in Texas that is working to add some extra features to our website. We are looking for a freelancer that we can build a long-term relationship with in regards to editing and adding new features for our website.

So here is our first project:

We would like to have our church’s website translated into all the languages that Google Translate offers. I was told that this can be done with simple .htaccess “rewrites”. We don’t want people to actually be taken away from our website and forwarded to Google’s when the translation takes place. So, it is my understanding that all you would have to do is provide me with one .htaccess file to make this all work.

Some of our pages are in “php” and some are in “html”.

If someone wants to translate our website they should simply have to add /fr/ (for French) or /es/ (for Spanish) or /en/ (for English) behind the URL and it should translate the website automatically for them while still keeping them on our main website.

EXAMPLES:
Our site in English – http://www.ourchurch.com/en
Our site in Spanish – http://www.ourchurch.com/es
Our site in French – http://www.ourchurch.com/fr

Once a user is in the French (for example) part of our website, all the pages they click on should also have the /fr/ so that they don’t have to keep translating each page individually.

I am not exactly sure how complicated this would be but we do only have a $230 budget for this. However, we do need this completed as quickly as possible. Also, I have seen that some people on ScriptLance make down payments or pay X amount upfront before they get their finished product. Due to our church’s budget, we really cannot afford to do something like this. We can only pay after we get the file and make sure that it works on all parts of our website. I hope you understand. I need one of the select WYSIWYG editors from nicedit*com to be modified to do the following:

1) Make sure all content is stripped of Javascript & PHP Strings.
2) Take all contents of WYSIWYG and write it to a MySQL database with the formatting.
