I Was Stupid…

Using WordPress 3.0 and Buddypress 1.2.4 and a couple of mods including a custom one for a sign-up code that required users to enter a specific word before they could join.

Users couldn’t register (just refreshed to the sign-up page) and I read that there might have been a fix for this in the latest release of BP.

SO, I did the auto-upgrade and the site is down.

This seems to be a problem with one of the plugins (probably BP itself). I renamed the plugins folder and got the core WordPress back up, but I need BP and the plugins working again. Once done I also need someone to fix the registration problem so that it doesn’t just keep refreshing.

I currently have a business website, lemlerphotography.com, and a separate transactional page on a paid website, Brucelemlerphotography.zenfolio.com/ and need to connect the two and add the word “PURCHASE” to my web page content listing. This will allow visitors to my website to purchase images, without feeling as though they have left my page, and without the expense of my developing my own transacational section.

I utilize WORDPRESS and have access to change the layout of my page, but not the skill. This is why I need you!

As a note, he said this is probably a $25-$50 job, and he knows…however I expect to need additional help as time goes by, and would like to work consistently with a developer, so this could certainly result in additional work down the line.
