We are seeking a highly qualified group of programmers who have previous experience making custom social networking sites. This is a task for EXPERTS only. And you should have atleast a small team of programmers who can do several task at once. Otherwise this project will not be able to be completed within our 2 month time frame.

We require seeing any and all of your previous work. And you must keep us updated on everything each week and for us to be able to contact you via skype.

NOTE We will need this done within 1 2 months at the most and we also plan on giving a bonus as well if you get this done within the given time frame.

Our project has already started the front page is done and part of the inner social is done as well you will need to integrate your social with what we have so far.

Css Background-img Full Height Issue

I am looking for a solution to a css background-image height issue.

I have just created a template where I want to use a background image on the maincontainer that includes a header, content and footer div. In Firefox, the image will not display in the content div unless I specify a min-height. In both firefox and IE, after the min-height, the background image stops displaying. I need for it to display 100% variable lengths for the different pages. It does not display at all in the footer.

Can you help me set up my template to do this correctly?

Small Screen Scraping Project – Short Deadline

I have a data scraping project that needs to be done tomorrow. It’s not complex, I just have too much on my plate tomorrow to code it myself. I would just do it with curl awk and sed, but you probably have better tools for this.

If you know what you’re doing with either your unix scripting or some data mining tools, this should be done (including parsing and processing) in under an hour.

I have a list of 462 urls located on a website that I need to scrape for data. It can be scraped and processed using open.dapper.net as well. I’ve had success scraping it to xml that way in the past.

Either way, its a quick and easy project. Scrape 462 records and send me an excel spreadsheet or a CSV file. 1 hour tops if you know what you’re doing, 1 1/2 hours if you have to consult the man pages.

Here is the kicker. I will be choosing the winning bidder at 8AM EST (GMT-5) later today (August 14 2010). I will need the project back by 1pm EST that same day. That’s going to give you 5 hours to complete a one hour job.

Add Google Map To Site

My site (www.yardsalemagnet.com) needs a Google map placed on the home page. It needs to pull 50 most recent yard sales and display them with a custom pin. There is a custom zoom tool. There is a toggle feature to filter the pins by “All, this week, next week, beyond”. When a pin is clicked on, a small window of the yard sale needs to display with a link to the full details page.

The programmer needs to have previous Google Map examples and needs to expect some database work.
