Repair – Enhance – Socialize And Modify My Website 2

I am the owner of the domain and website refrain dot com. It simulates iTunes in the browser and playes music from youtube-videos. You can also import your iTunes playlist (xml) and so on. I have started this project with freelancers some time ago but because of a new job I have lost focus and so this project lays down there, unfinished. I am searching a php, js, css pro, young and fresh, with the mood to finish this website and make it a success. You should look into it, then tweak, update fix and refresh this based also on your own ideas. So please bid only if you are interested in building yourself a big reputation with an option of a partnership if things work out good.

What I have in mind is this, mixed with an old todo list that remained open. Based on this you should build a list of tasks that we will change.

– add social features, like sharing song or playlist url with twitter and Facebook
– add a public playlist to the left with itunes top 100 or similar
– make the design thiner, sleeker, less weight. reduce JS, make the code fast
– load and show the views first, then load ajax content with loading indicator
– add real url to the adress bar, even if ajax is used: http://mike.meessen.biz/blog/?p=6 so that everything has url to share
– maybe simplify the design more to look like iPod on the iPad
– design cool color schemes or lets do ONE cool scheme and we remove this color options
– search result needs a column with the date of the youtube video 
– search result should remove the selection of the previous playlist (blue background) and should select the search result instead (we want to add this next task:)
– search result should have cover view and cover flow too
– under Playlists / Friends Playlist we add a new category “SEARCHES” where we add the previous five search terms. We add the select checkbox next to each item. When a user checks the box, the search is KEEPT even if it would get autodeleted as 6th item. It will stay as saved search.
– from genre we build a new playlist with the same name “Genres”
– from year we build a new playlist please with the same name “Year”
– can we make the songs transparent if they are not available in the the album view, like it is with flexigrid for not embeddable songs, if a song was not found, but 3 days later it plays well since it is allowed to embed now, it would still remain unchecked and semi transparent. We should enable such a song again. 
– a song that is ones marked as broken should open a dialog, explaining what happen, instead of trying to playback again
– later we wanna handle such songs somehow, ie deleting or searching for another youtube result
– Bug, when I click iternity -> upload playlist, the user switches from user “Iternity to user “Hellmare”, happens on other pages too
– http://beta.refrain.com/upload should be in a popup too, like “new playlist”

Bespoke Warranty Service Management Web App Using Mantis

we currently use the open-source app MANTIS to manage our SL projects.

we need a new Web app to manage all our warranty service work much better, and, because Mantis already has most of functionality we need, we believe it would be a good idea to simply simplify, modify, and enhance the open-source Mantis code to create our Web app. our app is coded named SMS (service management system).

because of our service model, our service system functional requirements are much more simple comnpared to many

the biggest enhancement/change to Mantis is the requirement to pull & use some data from two existing mysql dbs (on same server)

the existing & new enhanced service steps are something like this –

1. user phones with warranty problem

2. we use new app gto pull data from existing warranty db (REG) to validate warranty type & status

3. we create job sheet

4. we assign a Service Agent by pulling & searching data from existing app SAM (which also includes all searchinbg (and mapping) functionality

(of course in-house SAM search & other functionality is much greater)

5. we save job in SMS app and email service agent a link and login details to new job to access/print etc

6. service agent does job and updates on-line job sheet with required details and saves job

7. we close job.

plus things like management alerts, based on job milestones, job reports

there would be different levels of access – admin/office/service/service agent/user

virtually ALL this functionality is already in Mantis (and a far bit we don’t need and can delete out of app)

[there is a small additional separate module to do once SMS is completed related to parts management, but we are keeping it as a sepoarate project.]

App Icon

I would like to turn my Logo into a neat looking APP Icon. Like an app from the Android or Apple app store. I would like it to be Square in shape but would be open to alternatives. Have a reflective 3d look to it and maybe even animated. What I mean by animated is having a white dot fallow the pulse line from left to right. Not sure how this could work. If not maybe just a spot appearing to be in motion.
