DockMenu (Menus & Buttons)

The DockMenu component allows you to create dynamic menus using the look and feel, and animations used by the Mac OS X dock. The icon zoom algorithm uses sin wave calculations to make it more smooth and accurate than you’ve ever seen before.

It was created mainly for people with minimum or null ActionScript knowledge. Thus you can configure most of the main aspects of the component by just setting the component parameters. But if you are an advanced user you can customize it to its full capacity.

Set each icon in the bar to load external movies or images, navigate to frames inside MovieClips or navigate to external web pages without writing a single line of code. If you need advance behavior, use events to respond to click, rollOver and rollOut on each icon.

Add any DisplayObject as an icon even if it is an asset on your library or a DisplayObject created from scratch using code.

You can change the bar border and background colors and alpha, or you can completely re-skin them the way you like.
