GOAL 2 (To Be Quoted Separately): Sign Design Refresh (modifying CSS)
Goal is to make the appearance of the entire site more minimalistic in appearance. We need something that looks less “busy” and more subtle, while introducing some new colours into the design palate. Details:
1. Looking for a more minimalist design with softer, less intense colours and more white space. home page is an example.
2. Need to introduce new colours that match/compliment the colour tones of the blues and greens in the Cantrav logo. The light blues, greens, yellows and oranges on the homepage of will give some ideas
3. Instead of the full green and blues on the menu bar when on a page or hovering mouse over a selection, am looking for a subtle coloured outline. Similar with the Module Box titles (example – Games IQ: Be Successful During An Olympics), these title boxes need to be more subtle, smaller.
4. Blue gradient background to be removed.
5. Destination Management Blog colour at top of page to match
6. Text links to right of logo to be resized and made more subtle. Possible different font to better match the site.
7. Need to add a third level of navigation so that menus for subsections are unique to that subsection. Example: Under “Services” we have a number of options and those options show up in both the drop down menu and the same services menu shows up on the left in each subsection. Need to show different menus for each subsection so that if in “Travel & Leisure Services” section, the left-hand menu shows only the items specific to that section….which will be something like:
• Agency
• Tour Desk
• Day Tours
• Multi-day Tours
This instead of each section showing “DMC Destination Management, Event Design, Event Production, etc” when in that specific section. A similar thing will be applied to all subsections so they have unique menu options.
Happy bidding!
