Our magento installation developed some personality and lead us to do a fresh install of Magento.
We initially used magnetic one store manager to move over the product data but we were only partially successful. We’d like you to move over the products(285, customers(42) and orders(46). The categories came over and it looks like the attribute sets are there as well but they may have issues so it’s probably better to clear them and bring them over again.
Please check that I cleared out the products from the attempted import properly in the new store folder. Clear attribute sets in neccessary. Please be sure to maintain extensions and themes (which are already installed and funcioning in the destination cart.
Migrate prodcuts (simple and configurable), Orders and Customers from old store to new store.
Please note that the products in the Kit category are using custom themes to display the product pages based on static blocks. This should not effect how the products themselves are moved over, the necessary theme files and blocks should already be in place, but
I though I should mention it.
In the source cart we have created a small wholesale storefront with the same theme, and associated wholesale categories and products to display in it. (These products are included in the count above) We’d like this storefront to be accessible at domain.com/wholesale
Please verify that once moved the configurable products are able to be added to the cart and purchased.
For example this configurable product works on the /store old site:
But after moving it over we could not get it to work. I’d like to learn how to perform such a migration myself so if you could document the steps you take I would be very apprecitive and include a bonus.
Cpanel access will be permitted as well as FTP and logins for the magento installs.
