The child’s body was found behind Raigmore Hospital A 43-year-old woman has been arrested over the death of a four-year-old girl found in the grounds of an Inverness hospital.
Police received a report of a missing girl and woman at 2200 GMT on Tuesday. The child’s body was then found behind Raigmore Hospital at about 0300 GMT.
Northern Constabulary confirmed they had arrested a woman in connection with the death.
A spokesman added that no further details would be released at this time.
