D3 sticky force layout- is there a way to select more than one node at a time?

Is there a way to select more than one node at a time for the D3 stick force layout? For instance, have a brush movement to select multiple nodes at a time and then drag them to a certain location and they stick. Completely new to D3 here, so any help is appreciated.
