In this real painted artwork, the underlying canvas is treated with glaze and layers of paper before being painted over with several transparent washes of diluted acrylic paint. The result is an interesting variation of subtle hues and contrasts within the changing shapes across the canvas, while still retaining a unified look.
The main image (see screenshot) is the full canvas at 300dpi and the other 3 are zoomed in closer shots of selected areas which show incredibly detailed texture and very subtle changes in hue and contrast.
There are many ways in which these images can be treated and combined, suitable for many projects.
