We are looking for a site similar to, but not exactly like kickstarter.com. In general, the core functionality and idea is the same (the ability to set-up projects, set funding targets and create update donations and number of donors automatically, social media and members groups auto updates.
However our site is an integration of 3 sites:
1- crowdfunding platform
2- webshop linked to crowddfunding and products in webshop are linked to crowdfunding, webshop is easy and not many buttons and extras, see www.p-o-k.be/shop
3- www.p-o-k.be like is but then adjusting the gfx layout
This means we have 3 sites where in site 1 you have a litlle bit of site 2 and 3 and in site 2 you have little bit of site 1 and 3,….
Interface for user is custom made so they can follow projects, fund, buy and only see what there are interested in (click specific projects to follow and receive the updates (sort of blog) for this.)
Interface for admin is also well designed!
All payment integration is via PayPal and easy to pay back when funding has not reached quota! so admin for funding is logic and easy payment back.
When one donates there should be the possibilty for the donor to tweet it and post it to FB.

Ideal candidate has e cean eye for design! Important I canceled last project for this reason!
Although the general look-and-feel is made be us, the ideal candidate is thinking with us to make it even better. I would like to be able to change the look in CMS and each page ( this for the crowdfunding part) should have the possibility to change look and feel and users should navigate quickly.
The code should be written by you in language you prefer, follow standard coding conventions and be object orientated.
Ideal candidate should have a good eye for design as this site falls or be a hit by the interface design and graphic design, please inspect the site carefully to see all the features because I’m expecting those to be in the site and many features more, a good video with easy update and logic design, although we make first design the candidate should to adjust and update, our first design is a good basic to start designing more.
1- Kickstarter interface should not be copied, since we will start with only 2 projects, so site must be cool and atractive with 2 projects only.
2- I would be cool that the main pages are clean simple design like giving by us on start project but when they click on a project (discover project) the background and so changes to the look of the project, think movie site design! offcourse we make the graphics for each project, so we need a kind placeholder that we can change and ad to a project.
3- A webshop is integrated in the site for buying credits and the end product with all there atributes likes T-shirt and etc.
4- The choice of company is not based on Budget but that company that can prove they are the designers and coders and give extra input to make this site better!
5- We always believe that experts can give a contribution to a project and trust you give us the upmost best off yourself. We also choices those that give us a clear understanding of the project.
This project is all about movie so interface flvplayer, integration of vimeo,… is prior, you need to adjust design for a good movie experience
